The possibilities of schooling - Colombia
Education is a fundamental right that empowers individuals and transforms communities. Not everyone around the world has equal access to quality education. In Colombia, like many other places, there are children who face significant barriers in pursuing their dreams due to limited educational opportunities.
In 2024 we will go on an inspiring mission to Colombia to build a school, bringing education closer to those who do not have the fortune to attend school every day.
We firmly believe that education is the key to unlocking untapped potential and breaking the cycle of poverty. Through this school, we strive to provide a nurturing space where children can develop their skills, ignite their passions, and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
No street animals - Costa Del Sol
No dog or cat deserves to live a life on the streets. Unfortunately, animals get abandoned by their owner every day in Spain. Every year we help and support the animal shelter Triple A in Marbella and contribute with funds, materials, food for the animals, and our time and construction expertise to help build and equip the facility.
Triple A is an animal shelter in Marbella on the Costa del Sol. They rescue, care for, and rehome abandoned animals.
Sustainability
Sustainability in housing development
As property developers, we have an opportunity to make a difference. Therefore we make carefully selected decisions regarding the production, materials, and installations in our villas.
Elements
-
Heating
There are some reliable options to heat up houses in energy-efficient and eco-friendly ways. Aerotermia and underfloor water heating systems are two of the ones we prefer.
-
Energy
It´s highly in our interest to try our best to reduce energy consumption. By choosing solar panels as an energy source we work in the right direction toward clean energy production.
-
Water
We aim to waste as less water as possible when developing our houses. A few effective water conservation systems are rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling, and installing water-efficient appliances in our houses.
-
Quality built
There are plenty of more important elements of an energy-efficient home, which include how the house is built. Solid isolation and low-E glass on windows are relevant materials to use to separate the interior and exterior temperatures. Besides the temperature regulation, it is of relevance to choose sustainable and renewable materials in the construction.
